The latest issue of Country Knitting of Maine News and Views newsletter (Volume 8 Issue 4) has been posted to subscribers in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Along with the pictures of the winning hats in the 2013 Hat Contest – 902 hats were contributed! – there are several machine knitting patterns for hats, mittens, gloves and scarves included in this issue. There are also patterns for sweaters, jackets and shawls, an upside down raglan sweater for a baby, Jo Newton has contributed a punchcard and an electronic pattern for a small dog, plus there are articles on punching your own punchcards, ribbing without a ribber, and cut & sew necklines.
